Dr. Kettle will be reducing his clinical activity as he progresses towards retirement.  He will no longer work out of the Paris Street office after December 2021.  In 2022 all patient visits will take place at Health Sciences North in the Ambulatory Care Unit, main operating room and minor surgery.  The COVID-19 virus pandemic created waiting lists for surgery that are longer than ever before.  Dr. Kettle stopped accepting new consults for elective conditions in January 2021 because wait lists at that time were over two years.  As of November 2021 it is anticipated that all patients waiting for surgery will be able to complete their surgery by November 2022.  In 2022 Dr. Kettle will accept all operating days available (essentially full time) from Health Sciences North to complete the waiting list.  Dr. Kettle will continue to be on call for  Northern Ontario one in five weeks.  Dr. Kettle will continue to perform the treatment of skin cancers during this time as well.
